Once the world’s largest strawberry patch, known as the Flying Cow Ranch consisting of 18,000 acres of swampland the Village of Wellington was developed into a planned community in 1972 and is part of Palm Beach County. Once just a bedroom community, Wellington has seen much progress and development since becoming incorporated in 1995 and is currently home to the world’s largest horse show held annually from the first week of January through mid March.

Wellington has seen a steady growth, with an impressive 44% increase in population since the year 2000. Attracted by top-rated schools, a large number of recent residents are families with young children, making the Village of Wellington a wonderful place to raise a family, invest in and retire to.
